lyrics
Shakey archery. Lazy stretch marks the best of me. Maybe I'll bite my tongue off to taste the concrete.
Milk the sky. I'm trying to discover to colors too wild to describe with words. Because I just want to taste them. I'm too gone to reason. Too broke to reply.
I wanna feel wavy just to be happy.
(U got me knocked out dressed on the floor)
I never had a bad trip before, now I'm shook.
Take this with a grain of salt until the bitter pill hits U. Then just think about it.
I've got four twenties in my pocket. Quick shift then I got it. Blood straight to my sockets. If the ember burns like the end of the world -- ice cold on a dime I don't care if it hurts. Cough it up.
I wanna feel wavy just to be happy.
(U got me knocked out dressed on the floor.)
I never had a bad trip before, now I'm shook.
Take this with a grain of salt until the bitter pill hits u. Then just think about it.
When it kills me, leave my body on the loveseat smiling.

Been following Somos for many years, feeling that they had an opus in them...well, here it is. Driving pop-punk sensibilities lend an upbeat tone in contrast to the grim lyrical proceedings, and they absolutely pull it off. Evocative music that's been on repeat for me all month long. I got to listen to some of these songs live during Origami Angel's tour in 2022, which was a really cool experience. I loved them enough to buy a CD!!! KZDEX
