lyrics
Go sell your fiction to someone who can listen, because hearing u is definitely deafening.
Create the distance between us. Yeah, who is this? I can't even recognize u anymore.
Stay alive. Stay temporary.
Let's watch this Universal monster film on VHS, and get reckless with bedside beverages. Take it off's what u said. I wasn't hesitant.
This shouldn't be so bad. It's just, my pillow smells like your head and I'm talking to myself out loud again. Fuck thinking about the end for one more second. I'm chasing time. Set the pace. Fuck the deadline.
I said it, throwing on Never Meant like 'let's just forget,' it.
Spinning sometimes at the thought of your brown eyes meeting mine.
I jumped through a window, landed on shattered glass. It didn't go as planned and my hands bled holding on.
Stay Alive. Stay Temporary.
Let's listen to the sound of our death sentence in our heads. And get reckless with bedside beverages. Take it off's what you said. I wasn't hesitant.

Been following Somos for many years, feeling that they had an opus in them...well, here it is. Driving pop-punk sensibilities lend an upbeat tone in contrast to the grim lyrical proceedings, and they absolutely pull it off. Evocative music that's been on repeat for me all month long. RIP, Phil PaintedDogs

I got to listen to some of these songs live during Origami Angel's tour in 2022, which was a really cool experience. I loved them enough to buy a CD!!! KZDEX
